Community Notes have been a savior for the dying Twitter platform, combating misinformation and undisclosed ads. But those who volunteer to correct other users pack a bite to them as they sassily provide research to dumb tweets.

Conspiracy theories may be fun to hear about from time to time but we as a society have to remember that there is someone more stupid than us who will believe New York City is under a red sky, vaccines are hoaxes, or that a random Asian man in fatigues is Ian Miles Cheong. The blue checks have taken over our timelines to tweet the most brain-dead things ever. However, we have the pleasure of watching them get academically reamed by a group of research nerd volunteers.

So if you fail to recognize basic fruits, candies, or WWII history, be aware that there's a keyboard warrior coming for you…with citations.
